Bound in leather with gold tooling as a presentation copy for a student prize in 1899 Cumloden College in St Kilda Victoria. The school, founded by disaffected school masters was only short lived (1891 - 1905) despite being academically successful , closing when the founder William Martin Burn became ill and retired.
A beautiful book full of illustrations and fabulous facts like how is a mirage formed, the most recent earthquakes and architectural and natural wonders.
